The Federal Government says it has secured the agreement of the United Arab Emirates to create humanitarian response stations nationwide; to address Nigeria’s “poverty level” and aid victims of various disasters.
Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Betta Edu, had spoken to the press in Dubai, after her interactions with officials of the Emirati government, the World Trade Organization, and President of the Islamic Development Bank.

Also speaking, the Minister of Environment, Balarabe Lawal, affirmed that the NIGERIAN DELEGATION at the Summit was determined to canvas for a position which benefits the country.
