Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) is expanding its night-time traffic management and monitoring operations in the state ahead of the New Year.
The move targets high-traffic commercial zones, including Lekki-Ajah, Ikoyi, Victoria Island, and other busy areas within the city, to enhance road safety and ensure seamless vehicular movement during the holiday season.
Announcing this in a statement, the agency’s Public Relations Officer, Adebayo Taofiq, said the deployment is expected to address the increased vehicular activities associated with the festivities.

He urged motorists to exhibit discipline and responsibility while using the road, to ensure the safety of all road users.
