President Bola Tinubu has urged Nigerians to join hands to fix the country and have a change of mindset towards money.
According to a statement from his spokesman Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu spoke on Monday when he received a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) led by its president Archbishop Daniel Okoh at the State House in Abuja, asking the body to help in preaching against corruption and related matters.
Despite the challenges facing the country on many fronts, Tinubu said his government is unrelenting, promising to be fair to all Nigerians, and urged the leadership of CAN to propagate the message of tolerance and hope among Nigerians, warning that the opposite could damage the country beyond repair.
CAN president Archbishop Okoh said the group believes in Tinubu’s administration and is ready to always partner with it, just as it urged President Tinubu not to relent in providing good governance by ensuring security, inclusivity, and peaceful co-existence in the country.
