President Bola Tinubu has appointed Shamsedeen Ogunjimi as the new Accountant General of the Federation.

Announcing this in a statement, Presidential Spokesman, Bayo Onanuga said the appointment followed a thorough selection process, including a written test, ICT assessment, and oral interviews.

The 57 year old Ogunjimi will assume office on March 7, 2025, the same day the current Accountant General, Oluwatoyin Madehin, retires.
